KFC Australia is launching a twist on the Aussie chain’s classic Zinger burger: the Black Zinger burger.

According to Frugal Feeds, the new burger – which launches on March 22 – will feature a chicken breast fillet, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise all nestled between a black dyed bun with chilli flakes.

Frugal Feeds reports the new burger will sell for about $6.05 USD on its own, or about $8.35 USD in a combo with fries and a soda.

In 1993, KFC Singapore was the first KFC in Asia to develop and launch the Zinger burger. A classic Zinger burger features a spicy fried chicken breast fillet and is typically found at KFC restaurants in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Europe including the UK.

KFC Australia is running an aggressive campaign on social media to promote the launch, including giving local food bloggers an early taste of the new Zinger. You can check out some of the action below.
