Sara Lee just introduced its first-ever, bakery-inspired bread, just in time for National Grilled Cheese Month and National Grilled Cheese Day on April 12. Artesano bread is available at grocery stores and major food retailers nationwide.

The new thick-sliced bread features a golden crust and is dusted with flour before being packaged in a distinct, frosted bag. Artesano bread is made without artificial flavors, colors or high-fructose corn syrup.
Initially, Sara Lee tested Artesano bread in eight key test markets across the country last fall. Sara Lee says the bread quickly rose to being one of the top-selling products in the bread category.
Artesano bread is available in the bread aisle of grocery stores in a 20 oz., 15-slice loaf, for a suggested retail price of $2.99.
One 38 gram slice of Artesano bread has 100 calories, 2 grams of sugar, 2 grams of protein and 190 milligrams of sodium.
