The owners of the popular Swiss Chalet restaurant chain in Canada have acquired the Quebec-based St-Hubert restaurant business in a deal worth $537 million.

The acquisition of St-Hubert provides Cara Operations Limited with 117 restaurants, 2 food manufacturing plants, 2 distribution centers, and a real estate portfolio consisting of 28 owned properties including the 2 manufacturing plants.
Cara manages a number of restaurant chains in Quebec and across Canada, including Swiss Chalet, Milestones and Harvey’s.
