Wayback Burgers on Friday introduced a new milkshake that doubles as a dip. The chain’s new Cheeeesy Gold Milkshake defies logic, but will certainly appeal to cheese lovers, the curious and the gullible. What started out as an April Fools’ prank became reality after select Wayback Burgers locations started handing out Cheeeesy Gold Milkshakes for free to fans brave enough to stomach them.

The new Prank-Shake flavor is made with a blend of fresh milk, premium vanilla bean ice cream and what the burger chain described as “rich liquid gold.”
Liquid gold in this case is the cult classic Cheese Whiz. That’s right, squeezable food. But if you thought this shake was just for sucking through a straw, hold that thought. Wayback is also promoting the shake as the perfect dipper for their house-made crispy potato chips.
On a more serious note, Wayback is running a $4 BBQ Bunch promotion during the month of April.
