For Burger King fans in Canada that like their fish on the hot and spicy side, the chain is offering a twist on its iconic Big Fish Sandwich: the Spicy Big Fish.

The Spicy Big Fish is made with a 100% Alaskan Pollock fillet that’s topped with 4 spicy slices of jalapeño peppers, creamy tartar sauce and shredded lettuce between an artisan bun.
Additionally, you can pick up 2 sandwiches for $5 as part of the chain’s limited time “2 for $5 Mix & Match” promotion (2 for $6 in Atlantic Canada).
It’s worth pointing out that the Spicy Big Fish Sandwich was first introduced in the U.S. in 2015 as a limited time menu item. Although the two sandwiches share the same name, they do differ slightly.
Both feature Alaskan Pollock, but the U.S. version of the sandwich is topped with creamy spicy sauce and tangy pickles. The Canadian version drops the pickles and spicy sauce, in favor of 4 spicy slices of jalapeño peppers, and creamy tartar sauce. The Canadian version also comes with an upgraded artisan bun.
The Spicy Big Fish is available at participating Burger King locations across Canada for a limited time.
