Burger King’s Whopper Dog is everything you’d find in the chain’s iconic Whopper, in the form of a hot dog.

Featuring a 100% beef flame-grilled hot dog, the Whopper Dog comes topped with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayo, chopped onions, and pickles, all served on a baked bun.

The Whopper Dog is priced at $1.99, and be honest, these things should come in at about $1.49.

If you like to eat on the move, the Whopper Dog is not for you. This is one sloppy hot dog. And just like a real wiener dog, you’ll be chasing this thing with every bite. It’s also messy – so have a napkin prepared.

The big question is, of course, does a hot dog dressed like a Whopper work? Well, that’s complicated, especially if you’re a hot dog traditionalist. The dog itself is tasty and well done, but overall, the Whopper Dog misses the mark for us.

We give it a lukewarm yes on the Chew Again scale, but it’s not something we’d specifically go back for.

For a second opinion, check out YouTuber JoeysWorldTour’s review of the Whopper Dog. He gives the Whopper Dog a score of 8 out of 10. He likes it.
