Denny’s has a new buttermilk pancake recipe, and the restaurant chain is hoping fans will flip for the new flapjacks.

Denny’s said the old pancakes were fine, but “America deserved better.” The upgraded buttermilk pancake recipe features fresh buttermilk, real eggs, flour and a hint of vanilla – resulting in what the restaurant says is a pancake that is 50 percent fluffier.
To celebrate the launch of the chain’s new buttermilk pancakes, Denny’s added three new limited time breakfast combos to the menu. Each of the three new breakfast combos come with two eggs, hash browns, plus a choice of two strips of bacon or two sausage links – as well as the following:
The new Double Berry Banana Pancake Breakfast features two new buttermilk pancakes with blueberries cooked inside and topped with fresh strawberries and bananas.
The new Strawberries and Cream Pancake Breakfast features two new fluffy buttermilk pancakes filled with white chocolate chips, topped with vanilla cream and fresh strawberries.
The new Sticky Bun Pancake Breakfast features a cinnamon sauce and cream cheese icing drizzled over two new fluffy buttermilk pancakes with glazed pecans cooked inside.
Denny’s also upgraded the chain’s Peanut Butter Cup Pancake Breakfast with new buttermilk pancakes.
