Longhorn Steakhouse is celebrating the approach of the fall eating season with the launch of its new Fall Chef’s Showcase and Peak Season menu.

The Chef’s Showcase features two limited time entrees – Shiitake Mushroom Crusted Filet and Cabernet Short Ribs, served with a choice of hand-chopped salad.

The Shiitake Mushroom Crusted Filet features a center-cut filet topped with a shiitake mushroom and Parmesan crust, finished with a garlic cream sauce. ($22.99)

Cabernet Short Ribs consist of braised bone-in beef short ribs with a cabernet wine sauce, over white cheddar mashed potatoes. ($19. 99)

Peak Season

The Peak Season menu includes two new appetizers and a new dessert – Bison Meatballs, Smoked Gouda Green Beans and Cinnamon Bourbon Bites.

Bison Meatballs pairs bison and beef meatballs in a cranberry-BBQ sauce, finished with white cheddar cheese. ($8.99)

Smoked Gouda Green Beans includes smoked Gouda green beans garnished with crispy fried onions. ($4.79)

Cinnamon Bourbon Bites combines cinnamon caramel glazed donut balls with vanilla bean cream and candied pecans. ($6.99)

Great American Steak Dinner

The chain is also promoting its Great American Steak Dinner deal, featuring a three-course package that’s served with a choice of hand-chopped salad, and unlimited bread, for $12.99.
