The recall involves “Step-iT” activity wristbands, which come in two styles – “Activity Counter” and a motion-activated “Light-up Band.”

The fitness trackers were offered as the toy treat in Happy Meals in the U.S. and Canada. The chain is now recalling 29 million of them in the U.S., and an additional 3.6 million in Canada.

McDonald’s received more than 70 reports of incidents, including seven reports of blisters, after wearing the wristbands.

The fitness trackers were sold between August 9 and August 17. If you have one, it should be returned to McDonald’s for a free replacement toy, and either a yogurt tube or bag of apple slices
