The Veggie Crunch Burger consists of a deep-fried vegetable patty topped with McChicken sauce, sweet chili sauce, lettuce and cucumber slices on a white sesame seed bun.

The meatless Veggie Crunch Burger patty is made with a mixture of up to seven types of vegetables, including green peas, carrots, green beans, red bell peppers, potatoes, cucumbers and lettuce.

The sweet chili sauce contains garlic, and egg is used in the McChicken sauce. The burger does not contain any dairy products.

The patty itself is deep-fried in the same oil used to cook the chain’s apple pies, and does not come into contact with meat products.

The Veggie Crunch Burger is being offered as a permanent menu item and is available at participating McDonald’s restaurants across Singapore.
