El Pollo Loco is serving up four new limited-time menu items featuring the chain’s Beef Barbacoa, at participating locations.

El Pollo Loco’s Beef Barbacoa is seasoned with crushed tomatoes, onions, garlic and spices and braised until tender.

The Beef Barbacoa Burrito features a large flour tortilla that’s filled with the chain’s beef barbacoa, avocado slices, Monterey jack cheese, rice, pinto beans, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo salsa and creamy cilantro dressing.

The Beef Barbacoa Quesadilla is made with beef barbacoa, sliced avocado, sour cream, melted Monterey jack cheese, cabbage, onions and cilantro.

The Beef Barbacoa Taco consists of tender beef barbacoa tucked into a soft corn and flour blend tortilla, joined by sliced avocado, cotija cheese, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo salsa and cilantro.

The Beef Barbacoa Torta starts with a soft telera roll that’s filled with tender beef barbacoa, avocado, Monterey jack cheese, pinto beans, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo salsa, and finished with creamy cilantro dressing.

New Soups

In addition to the new limited-time Beef Barbacoa menu items, El Pollo Loco is serving up a couple of new soups for a limited time as well.

New Chicken Corn Chowder features fire-grilled chicken, sweet corn, potatoes, and poblano peppers combined with the chain’s creamy chowder.

New Deluxe Chicken Tortilla Soup is basically an upgrade on their popular chicken tortilla soup finished with avocado, cabbage, rice, cotija, tortilla strips and cilantro.

New Dessert

The new Rice Pudding is rich and creamy with subtle notes of vanilla and blended with plump raisins and topped off with a dash of cinnamon.
