Popeyes Classic Cajun Wings are deep-fried bone-in wingettes and drummettes featuring the brand’s signature flavor and come served with a side of new Buttermilk Dressing for dipping.

Ian K, over at Peep THIS Out! picked up an order of six Classic Cajun Wings with new Buttermilk Dressing for $3.99 at his local Popeyes as part of the brand’s latest $3.99 Classic Cajun Wings Deal.

The wings on their own are very juicy, crunchy and meaty, with a slight flavor sizzle brought to the party by way of the Cajun spices and classic Popeyes breading. It’s everything you’d expect to find in Popeyes deep-fried chicken.

The new Buttermilk Dressing is quite thick and at first blush has the appearance of a Ranch Dressing. After his first dip, Ian described the Buttermilk Dressing as being “Super rich, super thick… a straight ten-out-of-ten.” The creamy Buttermilk Dressing offered a hint of garlic and complimented the spicy Cajun wings well. So much so that the Buttermilk Dressing just might be the real star of this wing show.
