Asiago Ranch Chicken Clubs are available in three varieties: Spicy, Grilled and Homestyle. Both the Homestyle and Spicy versions are breaded and deep-fried, while the Grilled version is just that, grilled, or as some like say, the “healthier” alternative.

All three varieties feature an all-white meat chicken breast topped with thick-cut Applewood Smoked Bacon, Asiago cheese, creamy ranch sauce, lettuce, and sliced tomatoes.

If you’re wondering how the “healthier” Grilled version stacks up against its deep-fried siblings, you’re not alone. I took a look under the hood, and here’s what I found.

Both the Spicy and Homestyle versions each have 660 and 670 calories respectively, while the “healthier” Grilled version comes in with 520 calories. The Grilled version also wins the day on the sodium scale with 1130 milligrams, while the Homestyle and Spicy versions each have 1610 milligrams and 1520 milligrams respectively. As far as total fat content is concerned, the Grilled version comes in with 23 grams, while both the Spicy and Homestyle versions have 33 grams of fat each.

While you’d be correct in describing the Grilled version as the “healthier” option among the three club sandwiches, “healthy” is a totally different question, best left to the professionals. In the meantime, enjoy!
