Just in time for March Madness, Pizza Hut takes its digital ordering experience to the next level with the debut of Pizza Hut Pie Tops, a custom-designed, first-of-its-kind basketball shoe that can order pizza for delivery at the press of a button on the shoe’s tongue.

Pizza Hut Pie Tops feature a smart button embedded inside the shoe’s tongue that connects via Bluetooth to the Pie Tops app, allowing the user to press the button and instantly submit a pizza order.
As part of the promotion, Pizza Hut is offering a special delivery deal throughout the March Madness tournament where anyone can get a large two-topping pizza online for $7.99 or any specialty for just $3 more. Just take note that prices do not include the delivery charge, which will run you around $2.50, depending on your location.
I’ve been searching for information on Pie Tops availability, but it appears that the Special-Edition kicks will not be made widely available to the public. I’m expecting Pizza Hut to announce a promotion where a few lucky fans will be offered a chance to win a pair of the new kicks. Stay tuned.
