Review - Burger King Crispy Chicken Sandwich

Burger King’s rebooted Crispy Chicken Sandwich features a chicken breast filet breaded and deep fried. It comes served with mayo, lettuce and tomato on a soft potato bun.

Ian Keiner over at Peep THIS Out! paid $4.69 for his sandwich, minus the tomato and light on the mayo.

The chicken filet came in a sizeable portion and was noticeably different than a standard Burger King chicken patty – in a good way.

The fluffiness of the potato bun came through loud and clear, while the chicken filet was as advertised, crispy and juicy. The breading was somewhat flavorful, but didn’t exhibit a distinct craveable flavor. Ian described the breading flavor as being “generic,” but tasty. It’s the one element of the sandwich that could be improved with more seasoning.

Overal Thoughts

A flavorful chicken sandwich and a major improvement over its predecessor. Ranks as one of the best chicken sandwiches on BK's menu, but the breading could use a touch of seasoning to give it pop.
