Ian Keiner over at Peep THIS Out! paid $4.69 for his sandwich, minus the tomato and light on the mayo.

The chicken filet came in a sizeable portion and was noticeably different than a standard Burger King chicken patty – in a good way.

The fluffiness of the potato bun came through loud and clear, while the chicken filet was as advertised, crispy and juicy. The breading was somewhat flavorful, but didn’t exhibit a distinct craveable flavor. Ian described the breading flavor as being “generic,” but tasty. It’s the one element of the sandwich that could be improved with more seasoning.

  1. I tried the new BK crispy chicken sandwich tonight. I was not impressed. It was better than the old version, which wasn’t hard to beat, but if you are expecting to get anything like the advertised version, think again. It was not crispy at all and the chicken was so small that it left 1/3 of the bun unfilled. The sandwich was hot…that’s about the best that I can say for it. Not worth the $4.99 I paid for it.
