Taco Bell’s Naked Chicken will be getting even more saucy when the brand launches new Naked Chicken Chips nationwide on Thursday, May 11, 2017.

The new menu item (a follow-up to the Naked Chicken Chalupa) features wedge-shaped, marinated white meat chicken breaded in a crispy, deep-fried outer shell. To drive the nacho “Chip” theme home, Taco Bell will be serving Naked Chicken Chips with a nacho cheese dipping sauce.
Naked Chicken Chips will be available as a 6-piece order for $1.99, or a 12-piece order for a buck more, at $2.99. You’ll also be able get them as part of a of a $5 Box, which includes Burrito Supreme, Crunch Taco, and medium drink.
Naked Chicken Chips first appeared at select Taco Bell locations last summer, when they were being tested under the name Crispy Chicken Chips.
Last December, Taco Bell was spotted testing a spicy version called Volcano Crispy Chicken Chips with Lava Sauce, at select locations in Tennessee.
