KFC Is Testing New Hot Honey Chicken At These Select Locations

KFC tests its latest southern-inspired flavor with the launch of Hot Honey Chicken at select locations in Norfolk, Virginia and New York state.

The latest offering features the brand’s Extra Crispy Tenders, Extra Crispy Chicken and Chicken Littles, all sauced up in a special sauce made with honey and peppers, for a sweet and spicy flavor sensation in every chew.

While the brand isn’t exactly stepping on the founding Colonel’s toes, it is introducing a new squeezable mascot to help promote the new offering: Colonel Bear.

To help create Hot Honey Chicken buzz, KFC is dropping off free samples of the latest southern-inspired flavor at local radio stations for staff to enjoy – and talk about on air.
