For the first time in more than 40 years, Starbucks is introducing a new core espresso option in the United States: Starbucks Blonde Espresso.

Starbucks fans will now be able to order any espresso beverage with their choice of “Starbucks Signature” or “Starbucks Blonde” espresso, including Starbucks Caffe Latte, Cappuccino, Flat White, Macchiato and Americano beverages.
The brand’s new Blonde Espresso features beans from Latin America and East Africa, roasted to the peak of their flavor to showcase the coffee’s balanced, subtle sweetness.
Featured Blonde Espresso Offerings
Starbucks Blonde Caffè Latte: Smooth and subtly sweet Blonde Espresso is balanced with steamed whole milk and a light layer of foam.
Iced Starbucks Blonde Caffè Americano: Blonde Espresso shots are topped with hot water to produce a light layer of crema then served over ice.
Starbucks Blonde Cappuccino: Blonde Espresso under a smoothed and stretched layer of thick foam. With less milk than a latte, a Cappuccino offers a stronger espresso flavor, a premium texture and a velvety, frothy foam with a crisp, cool undercurrent.
Starbucks Blonde Espresso is a permanent addition to the menu and can be found at the brand’s more than 8,000 stores nationwide.
Blonde Espresso is also available in pods for the Verismo System by Starbucks.
