McDonald’s says all Quarter Pounders sold in the contiguous US will be made with fresh beef, cooked when ordered, by early May 2018.
The chain says it is currently serving fresh beef in all Quarter Pounder and Signature Crafted Recipe burgers at 3,500 restaurants in Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh and Salt Lake City.
Over the next month, McDonald’s said it plans to transition for fresh beef quarter-pound burgers in additional cities, including Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and more – with full rollout to participating US locations by early May.
Quarter-pound burgers that will be available with fresh beef include the chain’s fan-favorite Quarter Pounder, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Double Quarter Pounder and Signature Crafted Recipe burgers.
Fresh beef will not be available available in Alaska, Hawaii or US Territories
