Tyson Foods recalls 52,000 pounds buffalo style chicken wings

Tyson Foods is voluntarily recalling more than 52,000 pounds of buffalo style chicken wings after some customers reported the food had an off odor.

The 52,486 pounds of fully cooked buffalo style chicken wings were produced on October 24-25, 2015 and were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

The 28-ounce retail bags in question contain “Tyson Any’tizers Fully Cooked Hot Wings Buffalo Style Chicken Wing Sections.”

The products subject to recall have an establishment number of “P-13456” inside the USDA mark of inspection as well as on the back of the bag above the heating instructions. They also contain packaging date codes of 2975PBF0508-23 and 2985PBF0500-01 along with use by/sell by dates of October 24, 2016 and October 25, 2016.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
