The co-host of ABC’s popular TV show “The Chew” will be joining the likes of Wolfgang Puck, Bobby Flay and Geoffrey Zakarian, when he opens a new restaurant in an Atlantic City casino next year.

The Associated Press reported today that Symon will open an Italian restaurant at Atlantic City’s Borgata casino next fall.

Michael Klein over at Philly.com reports that he’s learned Symon’s unnamed eatery will occupy the former SeaBlue by chef Michael Mina, which closed about three years ago.

Symon told AP that he’s excited to be bringing Italian cooking to Atlantic City. “This is the food I grew up eating – my Sicilian grandmother would be proud!”
