Viewers of the episode earlier this spring will recall how well the makeover went, considering the unique circumstances and challenges the RI crew faced. It now appears that all that work will be coming under the wrecking ball as The Lemon Tree Grocer undergoes another major renovation at the end of the year.

The Zest Bistro is scheduled to serve its last dinner service on Dec. 31, with the eatery reopening in spring 2016 under a new business model.

As part of the latest makeover, the business will “reconcept” with a stronger emphasis on the restaurant and bar area while downsizing the grocery space, according to a statement released by Lemon Tree.

The Lemon Tree, which is located at Downers Grove Metra Station in Illinois, will continue to serve coffee, teas and pastries during the renovation period.

Due to the closing, everything in the store will be deeply discounted.
