Chris Taillefer, who wrote the song, recorded the now viral video at a Tim Hortons drive-thru in Sudbury on Christmas Eve.

With more than 1.4 million views on Facebook so far, Taillefer told the CBC that he was initially just hoping the little song would pick up people’s holiday spitits. But he didn’t “expect it to blow up.”

If you listen closely to the audio, you can hear employees laughing as he sings his order to the tune of Jingle Bells.

Taillefer said that when he approached the drive-thru window to pick up his order the employees all huddled around the window “to see who did it.” He said the employees gave him a thumbs up and told him that it made their day.
