Moby giving all vegan restaurant profits to charity

He’s known for his electronic music, vegan lifestyle, and support of animal rights, but Moby has something else in baking in the oven. Moby is promising to give all the profits from the vegan restaurant he owns in L.A. to charity.

“Little Pine is an extension of my beliefs, so I have decided to donate 100% of the restaurant’s profits to animal welfare organizations,” Moby said in a statement. “Opening little pine was never meant to be a conventional entrepreneurial endeavor. I want it to represent veganism in a really positive light, and also help to support the animal welfare organizations who do such remarkable work.”

According to the media release, all profits from Little Pine will be will be distributed to a variety of animal welfare organizations, including The Humane Society of the United States, Mercy for Animals, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Farm Sanctuary, Sea Shepard, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and Animal Legal Defense Fund, and others.
