
When the stars align they say good things are about to happen. Well, two stars have aligned in Tennessee and that’s very good news for BBQ lovers!

“Nashville” star Jonathan Jackson and longtime friend and soap star Steve Burton have teamed up to open Jack and Jameson’s Smokehouse – a barbecue joint and concert venue in Franklin, Tennessee.
According to restaurant’s Facebook page, the pair started the project because they knew Franklin would benefit from a family friendly restaurant.
If you’re wondering about the origins of the name, no, it has nothing to do with a love affair with either of the well known liqueurs. The name was inspired by the love of family, so the owner’s named the restaurant after their sons.
The restaurant plans to support to support local breweries and will be have 15 to 20 local beers on tap.
As far as the menu is concerned, Jack & Jameson’s will feature burgers, barbecue and melts, with a side of world class music on weekends.
Pictures posted on social media show the evolving renovations taking place at the site.
