Papa John’s announced today that it has become the first national pizza chain to remove all artificial flavors and synthetic colors from its entire food menu.

The Chew Boom crew thought it would be a good idea to clear up any confusion. Papa John’s isn’t referring to the ink used on their menus, they’re referring to food items you can order off the menu.
Papa John’s says the promise to bring “Better Ingredients” includes all pizza ingredients, pizza toppings, dessert items, and sauce selections.
The pizza chain is also reminding consumers that by this summer, its chicken toppings and poppers will be sourced from antibiotic-free chickens.
