Lightly sweetened with a touch of cane sugar, Lemoncocco is a non-carbonated beverage flavored with the extracts of Sicilian lemons and a splash of coconut cream. The drink was inspired by the distinctive refreshment stands found along the streets of Rome, Italy.

Jones Soda CEO Jennifer Cue was introduced to the beverage on one of her many trips to Italy. “When I tasted the beverage for myself and saw the enthusiasm for this drink in Rome, I realized the potential of this unique beverage back home,” Cue said.

Cue says Jones Soda’s version of Lemoncocco is not as sweet as the drink found in Rome, making it more on trend with evolving tastes of the North American palate.

Keeping with the Italian theme, Jones Soda says it will partner with Italian car maker FIAT to offer Lemoncocco to consumers who test drive FIAT vehicles, utilize Lemoncocco branded FIATS and participate at various co-branded events in North America.

Each 12 ounce serving of Lemoncocco has about 90 calories, making it a great choice for lunch, dinner or as an afternoon refresher.

Lemoncocco will officially launch at the 2016 Fancy Food Show in San Francisco January 17th – January 19th at the Moscone Center.
