If you’re a Waffle House fan, and we know many of you are, please just stop reading right about now, because you’re not going to like what’s about to happen.

Last Friday morning, a customer at a Forrest City, Arkansas, Waffle House caught a pair of workers doing their hair in the kitchen. If that’s not enough to turn your stomach, this will. They were using restaurant kitchen supplies. And yes, the entire procedure was caught on video.
This is the point where the Chew Boom crew can hear the unique sound of dry heaving and barf slamming into the bottom of a paper bag.
The video clearly shows one employee dipping her hair into a hot pot of water while a second worker helps contain the wet hair in a kitchen towel.
Antonio Robison was lucky enough the capture it all on his phone. “I just got out my phone and I just started to record. I just thought it was nasty and I needed to let somebody see this,” Robison told WREG.
And in case you’re wondering, yes, the employees were fired.
Here’s a copy of the response a spokesperson at the company’s corporate offices in Atlanta sent to WREG.
“We were made aware of this via a Facebook Private message this morning. We immediately reached out to the local management team. After identifying the parties involved, they were immediately terminated. The health department has been out to the restaurant for an inspection which it passed, and they have closed the case.
We do not tolerate these behaviors and strive to provide a clean, safe environment for all our customers.”
Chew Boom has learned the the two former Waffle House employees were later hired by a local hair salon but were both fired the same day for eating waffles on the job.
