Everyone knows Chipotle has been struggling ever since the chain was hit with the E. coli and norovirus outbreaks. Today, all the burrito chain’s restaurants across the country closed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for worker food safety training.
The chain was well aware that the closures would mess up lunch plans for thousands of their customers, so Chipotle responded by offering free burritos to help ease the pain. No, not that kind of pain.
Here’s what you have to do to score a free burrito:
Text the word “Raincheck” to 888-222 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time today to get a coupon for a free future burrito, no strings attached.
