Alaskan Jennifer Lovdahl took to Facebook last week to reveal the condition of a Happy Meal she purchased 6 years ago. The meal was left unopened in her office for the past 6 years.

“It’s been sitting at our office this whole time and has not rotted, molded, or decomposed at all!!!,” Lovdahl wrote on Facebook.

Lovdahl, the owner operator of Balanced Health Chiropractic, said she ran the Happy Meal experiment “to show our patients how unhealthy this food is.”

“There are so many chemicals in this food! Choose real food! Apples, bananas, carrots, celery….those are real fast food.”

We’ve seen other examples of McDonald’s meals refusing to rot, like this 6-year-old combo purchased at the last McDonald’s to operate in Iceland.
