The chain recently announced the return of the McCafé Shamrock Shake – but it will only be available for a limited time.
The creamy mint flavored shake is traditionally released in the weeks leading up to St. Patrick’s Day.
The drink has undergone major changes since it was first released in 1970 as the St. Patrick’s Day Shake. Today, the Shamrock Shake is a part of the McCafé line and features reduced fat vanilla ice cream, shamrock shake syrup, whipped cream and is topped with a maraschino cherry.
The Shamrock Shake is hugely popular – just check out the hashtag #shamrockshake on social media for proof.
