
There’s an old saying – never mix politics and religion – but nobody ever said anything about mixing politics and burgers. That’s probably something the M&M Bistro in Hartford, Connecticut considered before launching a presidential burger primary.

M&M Bistro is inviting customers to make their way to the eatery before June 14th where they can vote by making a selection from the presidential primary burger menu.
Currently, M&M Bistro’s presidential burger primary includes the following four burger candidates.
The Donald Trump Burger: A Tower of butcher-cut bacon, Camembert cheese, bill-fold lettuce, Big Apple tomatoes, caramelized onion baconnaise, piled-high golden onion straws (combed over to the right) on a brioche bun.

The Hillary Clinton: Grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms tossed with a sweet balsamic glaze, Big Applewood bacon, smoked gouda, Arkansas greens, tomato, and deep south chipotle BBQ sauce on a crusty baguette.

M&M Bistro is keeping a tally of all burgers sold and will announce the winner after polls close on June 14.
Each burger sells for $16 and includes a side. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Shatterproof.org, a national organization committed to fighting drug and alcohol addiction.
