Here’s the text of the pitch appearing in McDonald’s promotional material being distributed in the western Washington area:
The Northwest foodie culture is famous all around the world. So we thought it would be a perfect place to test our new premium sandwiches. Come put your unique twist on any of our Signature Crafted recipes today.

Under the branding “Signature Crafted” recipes, McDonald’s is testing three build-your-own sandwiches featuring a choice of three proteins: Quarter Pound 100% Beef, Buttermilk Crispy Chicken or Artisan Grilled Chicken. Both chicken choices are made using a 100% chicken breast filet, according to McDonald’s.

After choosing a protein, McDonald’s diners are invited to choose one of three topping styles: Maple Bacon Dijon, Sweet BBQ Bacon or Pico Guacamole.
- Maple Bacon Dijon features bacon with maple seasoning, creamy Dijon mustard, caramelized onion, white Cheddar cheese and crispy lettuce.
- Sweet BBQ Bacon features a sweet BBQ sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, caramelized onion, crispy onion and white Cheddar.
- Pico Guacamole features pico de gallo, guacamole made with real Hass avocados, creamy buttermilk ranch sauce, white Cheddar and leaf lettuce.

McDonald’s is also offering a BOGO deal with the purchase of any Signature Crafted Recipe sandwich until March 6.

On top of that, coupons are also available for free medium fries and soft drink with the purchase of any Signature Crafted sandwich. A free Happy Meal coupon is also available with the purchase of any Signature Crafted Meal.
