The Big Breakfast featured scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, hash browns, a toasted English muffin and a side of syrup.
According to the Evening Standard, the Big Breakfast was removed from the menu at some restaurants in the UK last June, and was removed permanently earlier this month after a review of the chain’s breakfast menu.
“Sorry to disappoint. We’ve made some changes to our menu which means we’ve stopped selling the Big Breakfast,” McDonald’s UK said in a Tweet.
Customers took to Twitter to express their anger with the chain’s decision to dump the Big Breakfast.
Apparently @McDonaldsUK have removed the #bigbreakfast from the menu won't be going there for brekkie anymore …only thing I liked 🙁

Looking at the #BigBreakfast backlash, makes me wonder if people have ever looked at the breakfast menu in it's entirety before.

No reason to go back to @McDonaldsUK now there is no #BigBreakfast. It's the only reason we went. Now looking for a #breakfast alternative
