
Gladys Knight’s Signature Chicken & Waffles restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia has failed its health inspection, according to WSB-TV.

The iconic soul food restaurant located on Peachtree Street failed with a score of 56 – the inspection was conducted on February 8.
The restaurant, which is very popular with tourists, was cited for several violations, including an expired Serve Safe certificate, heavy debris on a can opener, ceilings, vents, and a cooler missing a door, which resulted in food not being stored at the proper temperature.
Overall, Fulton County inspectors found 15 violations.
WSB-TV’s Carol Sbarge was told to leave the restaurant when she asked what was being done to address the health safety violations.
Health inspectors are due back in 10 days for a re-inspection, according to the report.
During its last health inspection on March 26, 2015, the restaurant was given a score of 79, which is a C.

Restaurants in Georgia are required to post scores where customers can clearly see them in the restaurant.
