
An In-N-Out Burger employee in La Mirada, California that was found shot to death in the restaurant’s parking lot Friday morning has been identified.

Shortly before 5 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded a call near the In-N-Out restaurant in the 14300 block of Firestone Boulevard.
CBS LA reports deputies found the body of Josefina Alcocer lying on the pavement in the restaurant parking lot early Friday morning
“A preliminary investigation revealed the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso,” CBS quoted Deputy Grace Medrano as saying.
Alcocer, a 20-year employee was wearing her In-N-Out Burger uniform at the time of the shooting.
“She was wearing an In-N-Out Burger restaurant uniform and appeared to be an employee of the restaurant, which was located adjacent to where the victim was found.”
In a statement published by the Los Angeles Times, In-N-Out owner and President Lynsi Snyder said Josefina the entire In-N-Out family is grieving today over this senseless tragedy.
“The entire In-N-Out family grieves today over this senseless tragedy as we send our thoughts and prayers to the Alcocer family. Josefina had been a part of our In-N-Out family since 1996 and she was one of our original associates at our La Mirada restaurant.”
No suspect description was immediately available.
