Beginning March 15, McDonald’s fans in Japan will be able to order Shaka Shaka Chicken with the new American BBQ spicy seasoning.

Shaka Shaka Chicken is served in a special perforated paper pouch in which you dump the contents of the flavoring packet and shake-shake-shake, until the juicy fried chicken is thoroughly coated with the spicy seasoning, while at the same time protecting your fingers from the messy flavoring powder.

In the past, McDonald’s Japan has featured other flavor packets, including Red Pepper, Cheddar Cheese, Lemon and Black Pepper.

Shaka Shaka chicken with the new American BBQ flavor will be available nationwide in Japan for a limited time on March 15, until the beginning of April.

Shaka Shaka chicken sells for 150 yen, or about $1.30 USD.
