After just coming off a successful National Pancake Day celebration, IHOP announced today that the chain will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year with a promotion that will have the competition green with envy.

On March 17, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., participating IHOP restaurants nationwide will be offering fans one short stack of IHOP buttermilk pancakes for just $1. All you have to do to qualify for the $1 promotion is wear the color green. IHOP says wearing just a “touch of green” will be enough to qualify for the promotion.
According to IHOP, this year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration marks the first nationwide March 17 promotion in the chain’s history.
