Back to the Bar “Luck of the Irish” features a new look at Campbell’s Irish Pub in Milwaukee and The Lister in San Francisco.

Campbell’s Irish Pub appears to be doing well since Taffer’s intervention. When Taffer sends Gerry Graham “Back to the Bar” to see how the pub is doing, he finds a packed bar at 4:30 in the afternoon, and as far as cleanliness goes, the bar is as “clean as a whistle.” Since the rescue, business is up 74% – about $90,000 in sales.

The Lister, home of the infamous “porn coach” appears to have fallen back to some of its old habits. When Taffer sends in his recon spies, they find a dead bar, and bare walls with all of Taffer’s branding removed, and Angelo, the co-owner and manager is unable to make the bar’s signature cocktail – the “JonFire Shot.” But he’s sober. The dance floor that Taffer installed to draw a younger crowd is now occupied by a ping pong table. Angelo believes the bar needs a “better concept” and says the “remodel sucks.” He also says Jon Taffer is “Full of Sh#T.”

Back to the Bar “Luck of the Irish” airs Sunday, May 8, 2016 on Spike.
