The first thing you’ll probably notice when you pull it out of the bag is the weight and heft of the burrito. It’s substantial, and probably more than expected, which definitely fits the Egg-Normous moniker.

On the inside, the Eggnormous Burrito is loaded with two halves of a whole sausage patty, bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, hash browns, shredded cheddar cheese and melted American cheese, plus a creamy spicy sauce, wrapped in a tortilla.

Your first couple of bites will be dominated by the tortilla, but that quickly changes to a meaty, eggy and cheesy flavor profile with a distinct undercurrent of smoky bacon and an accent of what can probably be best described as salsa. On the flavor scale, the hash browns are a bit of a letdown, but probably add to the overall filling factor.

One thing we like is the fact that the Egg-Normous doesn’t pack a lot of heat. But Burger King also includes a packet of Picante Sauce for anyone that would like to manually add some heat, to spice things up.

At $3.49, the Egg-Normous Burrito definitely hits the mark on value for money and really is filling. Another great thing about the Egg-Normous Burrito is the fact that it’s very portable.

This is definitely a Chew Again item. Overall, Egg-Normous Burrito is a great breakfast choice. This menu item is something Burger King should probably build on if they want to gain a greater share of the Enormous breakfast market.
