First off, for those of you that dislike garlic, this burger is not for you. Garlic plays a central role in the flavor profile of the Bacon Mozzarella Burger, and we believe the official name on the menu should reflect the garlic factor.

The burger features a 100 percent beef patty, savory Parmesan Garlic cheese sauce, a slice of natural Mozzarella cheese, three strips of Applewood Smoked Bacon, spring mix, and red onion – all served on a buttery garlic Brioche bun.

The Bacon Mozzarella Burger has a suggested price of $4.69 for a single. If you’re hungry, you can add a second or third beef patty.

As mentioned earlier, the flavor of garlic permeates the burger, but it’s not overpowering. The subtle flavor shifts with the Applewood smoked bacon and the raw red onion play well together and we thoroughly enjoyed the softness of fluffy Brioche bun and crunchy spring mix.

As far as portability goes, this is a two-hander, so it can get messy. Our burger was on the greasy side, but we’ve also heard that some fans found the burger on the dry side. There also seems to be some inconsistency with the sauce portion. Our burger had just the right amount of sauce, while we’ve heard some complaints that the sauce was overwhelming at some restaurants. To be perfectly honest, the Mozzarella kind of gets lost, but you can tell it’s there, but doesn’t really added to the flavor profile.

Overall the burger is filling and depending on your appetite and garlic tolerance, this burger offers a great opportunity for sharing. Garlic lovers will love it and appreciate the fact that the garlic flavor profile hits all the right notes and doesn’t overwhelm the other toppings.
