
After successfully testing Gilroy Garlic Fries at a few McDonald’s restaurants in the South Bay earlier this year, McDonald’s announced Thursday that starting today, Gilroy Garlic Fries will be rolling out at all McDonald’s restaurants throughout the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.

In a statement released today, McDonald’s said Gilroy Garlic Fries will be available at all Greater Bay Area participating restaurants by July 27.

The made-to-order French fries are tossed in stainless steel bowls with a purée mix of garlic as well as other ingredients including olive oil, parmesan cheese, parsley and a pinch of salt.
The garlic used to make Gilroy Garlic Fries is grown in – The Garlic Capital of the World – Santa Clara Valley in Gilroy, California, at the family-owned Christopher Ranch – the largest garlic production operation in the United States.
