The cafe, known for its dog-friendly patio and globally-inspired menu, announced the news on Instagram earlier this month.

The Gratifi Kitchen and Bar was featured on Food Network’s makeover show Restaurant Impossible back in 2014. Robert Irvine and his crew updated the interior and gave the eatery a shot in the arm with a new menu, but he also identified other issues, including a “dangerously dirty kitchen,” and a “notably arrogant owner who struggled to work well with his employees.”

During an interview at the time, owner Kevin Strickland told the Food Network that he was “over-the-moon happy with the renovation.” On reactions to the new menu, Strickland indicated the a favorable response from customers. “The tuna nachos are a surprise hit.”

On his management style, Strickland told FN that he’s more direct with staff and he “nips problems in the bud before they have a chance to fester.”
