A KFC in New Castle, Pennsylvania is offering a new menu item – Georgia Gold Honey Mustard BBQ.
Twitter user @buco81 posted a photo showing the promo poster as it appeared in the window at the New Castle, PA., KFC.
Georgia Gold Honey Mustard BBQ will cost you a little more than a standard meal. An 8-piece Georgia Gold Honey Mustard BBQ meal is priced at $22.99, plus tax, at the New Castle KFC. That compares to about $20.00-21.99 for a standard 8-piece meal.
We’re also told that the new sauce is on the mild side and has somewhat of a pleasing sweet honey taste, with only hints of mustard.
Georgia Gold Honey Mustard BBQ is available in a couple of varieties, including with KFC’s bone-in chicken or tenders.
At first glance it appears that KFC is simply testing a new product, with the prospect of a nationwide roll out sometime in the coming months. Depending of course on how its received.
