Spike TV just can’t get enough of Jon Taffer. For Taffer fans, that’s a good thing, because you’re going to be seeing a lot more of the bar and nightlife expert on Spike.

Spike has big plans for Taffer, including a new season of Bar Rescue, more Back to the Bar specials, and a late night talk show hosted by, you guessed it, Jon Taffer.
Jon Taffer Late Night Talk Show
While details on the talk show are vague, we do know that Spike ordered a series pilot with Taffer serving as host and exec producer. The late night series will be produced by 3 Ball Entertainment. Stay tuned.
Bar Rescue Season 5
Bar Rescue fans can breathe a sigh of relief after Spike confirmed this week that the popular bar makeover and rescue series will be back for a fifth season staring in August.
Season 5 is jam-packed with 30 episodes and is set to debut on Sunday, August 7, at 9 p.m. on Spike.
Back to the Bar
In addition to the late night talk show, Spike has ordered ten new Back to the Bar specials, which will air at regular intervals throughout Season 5 of Bar Rescue on Sunday nights. The specials will continue to revisit infamous bars from the series’ past. Additionally, Back to the Bar specials will feature new, never before seen footage of Taffer’s experts checking back in at previously rescued bars, and will revisit tense confrontations between Taffer and well-remembered owners.
