Perhaps looking to one-up rivals like Starbucks, McDonald’s is bringing its McCafe Pumpkin Spice Latte back even earlier this year, on August 31. Starbucks is expected to bring back their version of the seasonal favorite sometime around September 8.

This time around, and for the first time in three years, McDonald’s will be offering the spicy fall favorite at locations nationwide.
McDonald’s isn’t alone getting out of the gate early, Peet’s Coffee will start offering dark chocolate pumpkin mocha on August 31, as well.
At this pace, we can probably expect to see these seasonal favorites making an appearance in July next year. Shudder the thought.
