Wendy’s is one of the few fast food chains that offer similar deals and mostly all the same menu items in both Canada and the United Sates. For example, Wendy’s U.S. and Canada both offer the Baconator, unlike Burger King, which offers Grilled Dogs in the U.S., but not in Canada. There are more examples, but you get the point.
Today, Wendy’s U.S. launched 50-cent Frosty Treats for a limited time. Wendy’s Canada followed suit with 99-cent Frosties. But as you can see, there is one difference – pricing. I used a currency convertor to determine exactly how much a Wendy’s Frosty would cost in U.S. funds, and it worked out to about 77 cents. So, the U.S. deal is much better, but Canadians are used to that kind of disparity when it comes to currency conversion and pricing.
The 99-cent Frosty deal is available on either a small vanilla or chocolate treat, for a limited time at participating Wendy’s locations across Canada.
