If you’re not familiar with the Real Deal, it features a double cheeseburger, plus a spicy chicken sandwich, together with fries, and a drink, all for only $4.

According to Reddit user mikeshouse110 (who works at Hardee’s), the Real Deal will be replaced with a new $3.99 Classic Double Cheeseburger Combo on Wednesday, August 31.

From what we understand at this point, the  Classic Double Cheeseburger is an upgraded double cheeseburger, featuring 2 small beef patties, Thousand Island dressing, 2 cheeses,  lettuce, tomato, and caramelized onions.

For now, we’re just assuming the combo will also include a side and a drink, however, the lack of a second sandwich is sure to come as a disappointment to Real Deal fans.

We’ll keep an eye on this developing story and update as details become available. In the meantime, enjoy the final days of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s $4 Real Deal.
