First Responders Eat Free At Hooters On September 20, 2016

In a show of appreciation for America’s First Responders, and the important work they do, Hooters is offering these courageous men and women a free meal on September 20, 2016. The offer is part of a campaign to create a National First Responders Day.

For one day only on Tuesday, September 20, participating Hooters locations will be offering first responders their choice of one of the following entrées for free (must purchase a beverage): Buffalo Chicken Salad, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Hooters Burger, 10-Piece Traditional Wings, and 10 Piece Boneless Wings.

In order to qualify for a free meal, EMTs, firefighters and police officers must present a valid first responder ID, or be uniformed.

If you’re a first responder and plan to take advantage of the offer, my advice is to call ahead to your local Hooters and confirm participation as well as uniform requirements. Some Hooters locations are promoting the offer for uniformed first responders only, while others will accept a valid ID for active first responders not in uniform.
